Ha ha! How funny. I hate it when I copy and paste something like that. K...so Taichan and I were talking yesterday and I mentioned Ninja Scroll. Taichan said that was too bloody, but it did bring up a good point about the different types of anime that are out there. Anybody have favorite types of anime? Me personally, I'm not too much into the series stuff...I like long epics. Blood, guts, and naughty tentacles are always a plus, but not necessary if there is a good story line. Anyone else???

lets see... i love mecha, my favourite anime is Nadesico, (favouite charactor is Ruri from nadesico, shes the girl in my sig) which was 26 eps (standard length, 2 seasons) and basically makes fun of everything about a mecha anime, even has a sub anime in it. i had getting into an anime and then having it over. how ever i also hate an anime that doesnt have a new idea after the first season (Ranma 1/2!) perfect blue is something you might want to watch, not a lot of blood and no tentacles (pervert) but its a pycological thrillier... very odd (VERY ODD!) , about 90min i think, its been a few years Lain is pretty messed up too, its 13 eps, and i think the writers ran out of a budget to buy more of what they where smoking whenthey wrote it, its one of the biggest mind****s you'll ever find in the anime world. so i guess my range of anime is rather broad... basically if its writen well and isn't just about getting more blood into it i like it

Ouch! You say "pervert" like it's a bad thing ;-) I can't apologize for it...but I'm not really a bad guy. No. Really.

I'll have to check out Nadesico. That sounds really cool! I'm all into anything that spoofs other series, so I'll have to check it out this weekend. I've been looking at perfect blue for a while, but didn't get it because I wasn't sure if it would be good or not. I'll check it out now, though, since I have a good recommendation.

Although I don't really like the kiddy stuff, I really do like a good funny, totally corny bit of anime entertainment. Any type of funny, campy shounen anime is always good for a laugh (don't tell anyone else, but I like Tenchi Muyo). I don't really have a defined preference to where I only like one type and won't watch anything else. I try to keep a lot of different stuff so I can watch whatever I'm in the mood for.

another good spoof anime is Magical shoppng acrade abionbashi (oh i spelt that wrong) it was done by the same people as eva and one ep they spoofed it so bad it wasn't evenfunny! well yes it was but anyways

Baka is my middle name ;-) I'll definitely check out the the recommendations when I get back to San Antonio. I'm out in Las Vegas right now, so I've been pretty busy lately with work...and some play. Anyway, I'll write more later when I get back.
