Anjeong-Ri Korean-American Friendship Festival
The festival is this Saturday and Sunday. I believe that I read it starts at 1400 on the main shopping mall road. I'll attach some pics after I go.

Here are a few pictures that I took today. I went around 1 pm and then again around 4 pm. The place was packed, however I didn't very many people there that weren't Korean. It was supposed to last until 8 tonight so I imagine that more soldiers were there in the evening. I would have stayed longer but I am just getting over a bad cold and I was starting to feel bad again. I'm be back again tomorrow though.

I understand the Anjung-ri Merchants Association, who is hosting the Korean/American One Heart Festival, invited the Area III commander to attend. I wonder if he showed up.
I know a lot of the locals were calling for his resignation earlier this summer. The local merchants had a good point. Who shoud be responsible for enforcing USFK policy (drinking age); local merchants who abide by local law or USFK personnel? |

He was there, I saw him sitting front row center to the stage. CSM Kim was there also.
