Ace Club

The board beside the walk through gate has the Ace Club listed as being off limits. I'm not even sure where this place is. I checked the USFK page for the list of off limits areas but it hasn't been updated in awhile. Does anyone know where the Ace Club is and what might have happened there?

Re: Ace Club

I was at the "Hump" in 1980, is the 45th Trans Co. still there? I ran the hydraulic shop, and had a couple of Korean men that I worked with. They were some of the hardest working people I have ever seen in my life.
I went back to Korea on vacation in April of 2006, but didn't make to the "Hump", due to the protests going on at the time. What a huge change in Korea in 25 years! If you have any pics of the area, sure would like to see some.

Re: Ace Club

My name is Ed Lane and I was at the "hump" in 1963-64. I can just wonder about all of the changes.

Re: Ace Club

From my understanding there has been a lot of changes especially in just last few years. Just after I posted this about the Ace Club it caught on fire. It looked totally destroyed to me.

Welcome Norman, 213th is not longer. We are now B co 3-2 GSAB. We are only half of what was before.

There was another person on this board that was from the 213th. I'll see if I can find it.
