Question kids activities

Hi yall,
Quick Question?
I am moving to Camp Humphreys this summer and I am wondering if there are any sports/activities for 5 year olds? I am hoping to keep her busy in case she cant get into school.

Thanks

Re: kids activities

Their is plenty to do around here, sports are going on all the time. swiming, and alot of other things to do.

The bad thing about here is they are very bad about advertiseing...So you REALLY have to dig and get out to all the places like ACS, CAC, and other's like that to find out what is going on.

Re: kids activities

Yep, yep, Chuck's right on with that one. Also we have a monthly "What's Happening." It has tons of info including the movie schedule. There's matinées on the weekends that are usually kids movies. Oh yeah, and did I mention they're free? Also, when you do your spouse's orientation you can add your name to an email distro list. Then, you'll receive emails almost too frequently about what's going on in the area.

As far as sports go they have baseball, soccer, and basketball. I know 5 year olds can play soccer and baseball but I'm not sure about basketball. Baseball season is just getting started and runs through June, I believe. Soccer season starts in Aug/Sept and runs through October. There's also plenty of classes at the CYS ex. ballet, gymnastics, taekwondo. Really, it goes on and on.

P.S. They also have a swimming team but I don't know anything about that...other than they have one.

Thanks everyone, it makes me happy to know that my daughter will have something to keep her busy, and a way to make new friends.
