Things to do
Does anyone know of anything to do in Pyongtaek? I'm looking for something to just do during the day - besides shopping. Museums, parks, anything really.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you have! |

To Do in Pyongtaek:
1. Find a Korean friend who speaks a little English. Change $50.00 downtown. 2. Ask her to accompany you on a bus ride downtown. Buy her lunch. 3. Tell her what you enjoy. 4. Do what she says. 5. Take notes on which bus to ride and where to catch it on your return. 6. You are welcome! |

Re: Things to do
In P'yongtaek, there is a culture center with sculptures and artwork. There's also the P'yongtaek City Market where there's some pretty good shopping. The P'yongtaek Hyanggyo School was built in the 14th century (is actually in Anjung-ri). Also in Anjung-ri is the Nongseong Fortress, which is pretty cool to see. Hope this helps! (Oh, BTW the moderators advice is pretty good too, they can show you places we would never find on our own, and who wouldn't love that??) Krista
