Hyundai Home Town
Does any one live at Hyundai Home town? It looks like a nice place . If anyone does do you know if they offer furnished places? We are just trying to look at options before we get there. |

Re: Hyundai Home Town
I live at Hyundai Hometown. My only complaint was that it's too long of a walk if you're not going to have a car (thank God we have a car now.) It's nice though because we have a playground. Every apartment is owned by a different person so they all look different. Some have sun rooms off of the living room so it makes the living room smaller. Some don't have the sun rooms so the living room is bigger. Whatever realtor you use just make sure they show you at least 5 apartments. There will be something about all of them that you like. If you have a car I'd check out Bestville. They're awesome and bigger than Hyundai.
If you need a realtor when you get here, our realtor is the best! Her name is Mrs. Hodges at Beacon Realty (right out the walk thru gate, next to Puffin) tell her Michelle sent you. She won't steer your wrong.

Re: Hyundai Home Town
Wow thanks Michelle I will check into the other place too just in case the car situation. Does it just depend on your rank how much they charge you or are certain apartments buildings one certain price?

Re: Hyundai Home Town
I'm not really sure on that one. Our apartment rents for 1,250,000 won. Our OHA is more than that but of course we don't get to keep the difference. Your realtor will ask you what your DH's rank is and then find you apartments in that price range. Of course, the more expensive your apartment the nicer it's probably going to be. I would get as close to your OHA as you can w/out going over=)
I'm not sure if I answered your question...all apartments in a building are not necessarily the same price. At Hyundai each apartment is owned by a different person and they set their own rent. I'm not sure about the 3-story apartments. I would assume that they would try to get more money out of a higher ranking person. Not sure though.

Re: Hyundai Home Town
OHA is with dependants. Utilities can be expensive if you're not careful. Our gas bill was $230 last month and the electric was $50. During the summer the electric was between $150-225 a month and the gas was around $30. Just make sure you turn your A/C off when you're not home. Our first month here we left it on all the time and our bill was $550. Our water and cable/internet are part of the rent. In case you didn't know, you also get a utilities allowance and it's around $700.
