Re: Skiing

I just got to Korea 2 days ago, but found out all the skiing places prior to arrival. There's a sweet lil indoor mountain (oh yeah) called Tigerworld. http://chinese.tour2korea.com/ena/SI...jsp?cid=313276 It' about 2 hours northeast of Seoul from what I can tell. I'd give you the hyperlink to their site, but I'm not on my comp. Also, there is a very decent looking resort about 45 minutes North east of Camp eagle, located in the city of wonju. dunno if that's how you spell it, but that's how its pronounced. Were you guys at Pearl in HI?

No we're at Wheeler. Trying to not get chilled to the bone thinking about going from Hawaii to Korea LOL! Yeah our son is a little skater and is extremely excited about the thought of snowboarding. Thanks for the info I will check it out.

Re: Skiing

Tiger world is actually SW of Seoul, 2 hours NE of Seoul and your in North Korea....

It's about 40 miles from Humphreys, take HWY 15 to 100 and it's on the left hand side

Cool have you been there? Do you think it would be a good place for a 10 year old to try snowboarding out?

Never been there...it seems easy to get to....but as always, 4 lefts in Korea will not get you back to the same spot....

If you were there with him I would say it would be o.k. for him.

There are not many places in Korea that I would not mind Alek hanging out as long as i'm there..
