Water Park open at Cp Humphreys
The new water park opened on August 1. Only the main pool and hot tub are open. The kiddie portion is not open because they do not have all of the slides yet. The diving area is 4 meters, the lap pool is 2 meters deep. There's even an area for a volleyball net although it wasn't set up. The locker rooms are really nice with showers and lots of lockers. The hours are Sun-Mon 1100-2100.

We went on the second. As you can tell from the photos, there wasn't very many people there. It opened to very little fanfare, so I don't think many people know it is even open. I think they'll probably do some sort of grand opening once it is totally finished.

Great place so far, Me and my son went there Saturday after it started to cool down. Even thought the kiddie side was not open they still had floatie's for the kids, which was great for my son.
The water was VERY NICE, not alot of people but I think once the word get out it will be like most pools, FULL. One down side, I talked to a friend yesterday who knows the contractor. He aid it will be closed SEPT 15th? I guess we will find out....

I heard they were going to close but didn't know the date. When I went to the new comers briefing, Taliento said that they were going to start charging for admission next year.

The pool has been closed for the last week. I heard that the reason is because of the telephone lines there and apparently they have a leak. This is just what another spouse told me, so don't take it as fact. I'll post again when it reopens.

I asked the manager last night when the pool was going to close for the season and it's Sept. 17.
