Pay Question
Do you still get cola in Korea just at a single without depended rate NCS? Also are there any other pays you get over there different from here? I saw something when looking up korea hardship tours and it said something about Hardship tour allowance or something like that? Just want to be prepared for it all. Oh one more thing does the military pay to store your belongings and vehicle on the U.S. end when you join your hubby NCS?

Re: Pay Question
You're correct about the COLA. The hardship pay is $50 here at Humphreys. Each area gets a different amount and Area III gets $50. I can't remember how much the other areas get. The only other pay your husband might get would be AIP money if he decides to do that. And yes, the Army does pay to store your things and one vehicle in the States.

Re: Pay Question
I dont know about the vehicle, but the Army is paying to store our household goods while I am over in Korea with my husband (NCS). I am pretty sure it just depends on your situation though. For instance they are storing our stuff in "non temp storage" at the base we will be going to when his Korea tour is over. I dont know if that helps, but there are options out there.
