Home schooling

I was talking to a friend who left Korea (Humphreys) about 2 1/2 years ago and she said there was a large group who did K12 home schooling. Is this still one that people use over there or is there a larger community for a different program? I am just checking out all my options before we get there just in case I can't get the kids into on post school when we get there.

Re: Home schooling

I have not heard of that? At least not a alot of people doing that...just a person here and there.

What I have not heard of is a NCS child NOT getting into school, they maybe out there but I have not heard of it.

Re: Home schooling

I have also heard the same thing (that historically NCS kids were able to get into the Dodd's school) but that that was expected to change with the increase of CS families. I emailed the principal at Osan a couple of months ago and he said they try to accomodate everyone but in light of the CS increase I should plan to homeschool. We will be arriving in June and I will be bringing curriculum with me (third grader and kindergartener) just in case. Hope this helps.
