WEP is a few min hack, WPA is somethin glike a 10min hack, and Address filtering is easy to get passed as i've done it before when i forgot my routers password.

as for the wep, wpa, hacking i don'tknow how to do that but i know its not hard. just a simple program

and yes i have a router, i actually have about 4 of them... 3 of which are very flakey in hot weather....

To the best of my knowledge nothing is really Hack proof given enough time. The old saying is locked doors only keep honest people out but if you don't lock your wireless anyone can come in.

As for a favorite gadget I love all of mine from the wireless mouse/keyboard on. I must agree with shsong21 in that the USB thumb drive is the most useful.

Is that a Cisco Router ? I think Cisco router never flakey because Cisco router is the best in the world.
I have operationed many Network equipments until now, such as Alcatel, Nortel, Extrem, Foundry, Juniper, etc...
but Cisco equipment is best in the world.
Cisco Systems, They are very clever like CSI Team.

I LOVE my 1 GIG stick, that has to be the most usefull thing made. Next to my MP3 player and convertor for the car.

Problem with Cisco is they do not make anything cheap enough for the average home network.

actually they do, Linksys = cisco, but of the nonlinksys stuff ya too expensive for home use, i have Netgear, and linksys routers

net gear metal routers work good if you can keep them cool, the plastic ones are just junk.

but cisco is more stability than other bander.
