I think that your computer hardware spec is a bit fall than recently computer spec.
But your CPU is good. it's dual core cpu.

Yeah the cpu is good. I can always updgrade the other components. That is not a big issue. This is a complete system with Windows and everything. The only thing it lacks is a monitor and speakers. But I do have plenty of speakers available.

one, dell warrenty is voided in Korea.

i'd suggest building a few system on your own instead of a dell, that way you can also overclock it and get more out of the parts

I wasn't thinking about taking it back with me. It is cheap, especially with MS Windows Media Center. I don't plan to overclock this one, as I don't see myself needing that kind of performance. I like the dual core though.

well, if you upgrade the ram, your going to end up spendign $100+ on ram

i looked on dell and they wanted $329 just for a sempron 64 3400+ setup

It is too late already. I got it from AAFES website for CONUS shipment. They had a system for $319 with Sempron 3400+. But when you customize it and change the processor to the Athlon 64 3800+, you subtract $85. So the price was down to $234. I just check and they don't have it anymore.
