Folding @ Home

Does anyone else do it? I fold for a computer forum i'm on. one or 2 systems thats normally on.

Its uses home uses spare CPU power to calculate data in order to try and find cures for human ailments (Aids/cancer/etc)

Its also a little bit of a competition who can score more points so computer forums are really trying to show that they're systems are the best.

I fold for team 11314 under them name Taichan ,i'm pretty low on my forum as i just started again.

if you have spare cpu power you'd like to share for Folding i'm sure they'd love to have it, and if you wnated to fold under my name, i'd be more then happy to take the points ^^

Re: Folding @ Home

it also runs as an Idle process so its last to get access to your CPU so it won't slow down even normally computer use
