Re: Dell E521 first impression

No, it is black. LOL. Yeah, they finally put out the black and pink ones. Yesterday, they only had the white ones. So if you want a pink one, better hurry.

You do accumulate a lot of extra stuff. Do you have your own warehouse? lol. I need to sell one of my desktop computers, but can't decide which one to sell... Arrgg I like my old Dell SC400 too much even though it is only a P4 2.8Ghz, at least it is a northwood core and not the prescott.

Re: Dell E521 first impression

though Prescott are hot, they are better clockers... i had my 2.4ghz pressy @ 3.2ghz on stock voltage, 8 hour prime stable (got bored after that)

and no, no warehouse, thats all in my bedroom...

Plus 2 20+ inch monitors 2 printers, a scanner, and all my clothing!

Re: Dell E521 first impression

I believe the P4C can also overclock very well. I don't need the extra performance, so never bother with it.
Yesterday outpost.com has the Maxtor PATA 300 gb for $60 too. Today they have the SATA 300 gb for $70. It is not a bad price. I would have jump on it if I haven't already just bought 1.2 terabyte for $0.25/gig. Plus I prefer Seagate for the 5 years warranty.

Re: Dell E521 first impression

Actually those WD drives carry a 5 year warrenty and ship straight back to APO, and they're 5 year warrnety on those drives are real, aka, they warrety for 24/7 use for 5 years, seagate will void warrenties if you use it like that.

Also, do you have a non Light DS? whats the big difference if you do? and are you thinking about selling your other DS if you did own one?

Re: Dell E521 first impression

I don't have a non-lite DS. My nephew has one. I forgot what it looked like lol. For sure though, the old one is a bit heavier and bulkier. If you want a DS lite, you still can get it for 105. They still have it available in the store.

The white one is pretty cool. Check the anandtech for sale/trade forum. Someone might have a used one for sale.

Re: Dell E521 first impression
