XP Install

A friend of mine took his computer to a Korean shop and for some reason they seem to have installed a Korean version of Windows. Being a happy Mac user I cannot help him with an install disk, nor can I deciphyr the Korean to find "preferences or settings" to see if I can change the language.

I think he needs to reinstall a US version of XP. Am I right, or is there something else he could try? If he needs a new OS does anyone have one available?

Re: XP Install

You will need to install the English version of Windows. You can't just change the language like that. If you are around Osan, I can help you with it. PM me.

Re: XP Install

Thanks guys for all your help. His father bought a new Dell and they brought it over here without the install disk. (I don't know why.) Anyway there is one other English teacher here, I'm in Namwon, I think she may have a copy. I'll ask her tonight.
