Do you know about Home network ?



It's an optical cable. One core optical cable can send a data of 10Gbps.

I notice you have single and multimode cable that you use. Do you have a preference? I have noticed that many large companies use both but most try to stay with just one type (single Mode) mainly due to cost. You thoughts???

Most of Korea network infrastructure have an optical network.
We are using a multimode cable within some building and using a single cable between buliding and buliding.
We are using a multimode cable less than 2Km, and using a single cable more than 2Km.
