Anyone using Microsoft Vista yet?
After 2 years of delays, Microsoft finally released Vista this week. Anyone using it yet? Feedback?

Unless your a gamer with a DX10 video card, don't upgrade as its not worth it

personally i don't plan on upgrading maybe at all...

Vista is reported to have some issues with gaming right now. I don't plan to upgrade anytime soon. However, I did just buy a computer with Windows Vista. I just have to wait until I get back to the US to use it, lol.

I'm using it right now, and it does play WoW with no issues for me. I got the upgrade version so it was a bit cheaper than buying full retail. I like it so far.

i was pretty excited about vista's release but as far as what i've read.. almost every review said the same thing... don't upgrade yet.. pretty sad with all the potential it has.. sure it might be a great OS but right now is the wrong time for its release IMO. i'm building a new machine next month and i'm not even considering Vista as an option..

That is all my son needed to hear, as far as he is concerned there is no other game but WOW (World of Warcraft) But there have been issues with ITunes and some peripherals but that is mainly on upgrades.

MS Vista will be the main current of computer market soon like XP.
Vista want a high-performance hardware spec but it has a advanced tech than XP i think.
Vista has a excellent security ability and a excellent anti-virus feature.
Vista will reduce your stress.

Vista "excellent security ability" is a joke.... basically they made it harder to do anything and easier for others to get it...

Stress for most people is already way up do to driver issues.

Nvidia's Vista drivers are very poor seeing a very large hit in preformence compared to XP even on high end hardware

my suggestion is wait for the first service pack to come out efore switching
