the biggest difference is Price and Company that makes it and the type of motherboard they use
Core Duo 2 is the fast Dualcore CPUs on the market right now, there also known as Conroe, Core Duo 1 was just a laptop cpu and AMD 64 x2 is AMDs line of dualcore cpus, they come in socket 939 and socket AM2, AM2 is basically just a 939 cpu which is based off DDR2 instead of the older DDR1 ram, also come of them are low wattage units which run cooler then the others |
