Tai's new computer plan
Well i was looking at some things and i think i'm going to go to a Yonah desktop system. atleast for now
its going to cost me about... $800-900 to upgrade but do to the fact that the cpu is about 20-40% faster then my current cpu. and is MUCH cooler. and i'll have atleast 700ish coming back from Ebay for my current parts so its not THAT bad. plus it will help keep my room cooler durning the summe rtime and will save me about a bit on my power bill all around it is going to mean giving up 4 of my sata lines though which i don't really want to do but going to do anyways...

I'm just getting interested in upgrading, and wonder if there ever is a good time to do so. This old article sort of made me think try to wait a while...

that review wants to make me give up Windows and go to linux full time....
Luckily i'm in the clear but i'm really not looking foreword to Vista... i think some of that info is false though since i have friends who are running the beta for Vista, it does eat a shit load of ram though. but currently i have 6gb of ram sitting on my table but 2gb for 3 different computers.
