Downloading music to PC
I have alot of self made music casettes and VHS music tapes...
I have heard there is a way to download to pc....then to DVD or CD.... Sure would like to save all my old music i have.... |

http://cgi.ebay.com/new2-RCA-Sterto-...QQcmdZViewItem then just use that to connect a tape desk to your computer use a program that will record incoming linein to MP3, or even some portable MP3players have it then just make your own MP3s from that |

Yup that's what I did too. I recorded all my cassette tapes and convert them to MP3 that way. Although I didn't use the Y cable. I just use an audio cable that plug from my head phone out to line-in jack of my computer.

The software I used is Goldwave. It is a shareware. You can also use WavePad, which is free. I found it at download.com. Windows also has a built in wave recorder. But you will also need to get an mp3 encoder to encode it to mp3. Windows media encoder is also another good tool that is free. But it is hard to find.
