Just thought I'd share a conversation I had with a Korean. I was telling him how sometimes when I am with my husband and we greet a Korean lady she will greet us back. But if I am by myself and offer some type of greeting, the woman will ignore me and has even turned her back to me when she had an umbrella on her shoulder (these are different woman). I asked him why Korean woman treat me differently when I am by myself. He said that it is because they are jealous of American woman for having all the good husbands. That every foreign female here means one less American soldier that a Korean female can get.

This is not my own belief but just a conversation that I had with an older Korean gentleman.

I sense alot of anti-Koreanism in this forum. I am not anti-fat women. I was just ackowledging that there alot of them in Korea. I am overweight but I don't take offense to it. If you're fat you're fat. Don't cry about it. Enjoy eating or go on a diet, but for heavens sakes don't be sensitive about it. Slim is better than fat. People that disagree with that are probably FAT!

Actually, healthy is better than skinny or fat! I'm a size 6 and I don't agree with your assessment!

Nyo means "female" . Nyon is "*****." You are a typical "yang nom."

I hope you weren't calling a size 6 fat! :) I'm pretty proud of that considering I just had a baby a few weeks ago! And 3 within 2 1/2 years total.

Korean women are naturally smaller. Most of them are shorter too. They are pettie. Compared to american woman most of them are smaller. I'm pretty sure not every foreginer is jealous of korean women.If they are ,their proably just as jealous of a skinny american woman.

Uhhh.. A size six is not big. If you think it is your just a jerk. Your ex was a 3..how tall was she ? If she was any taller than 5'4 I would say she proably had a eating disorder.
