Hi guys,
I'm a new member who teaches at a university in Seoul. I've been in Korea for over 6 years now. I also have a podcast in Seoul. You can find it and listen at: http://www.midnightrunner.mypodcast.com You'll find interesting interviews and information from Seoul for teachers and expats. I hope to see lots of interesting topics of discussion here on the USFK forums! Last edited by willy : 08-01-2008 at 09:38 PM. |

Sorry I am late responding! I forgot what forum you were in and kept looking for midnight runner!
I was looking for you under NEW MEMBERS! (I will attempt to move a copy of this now to New Members.) Anyway, Welcome- we need some schoolteacher prospectives on here! Even hagwon folks are welcome, but some leave if we make fun of their spelling and poor sentence structure! Just kidding: if you have been here six years, you know from whence I speak! I have read of some strange attitudes from young bohemians with "Degrees" on Dave's Cafe and others. I checked out your podcasts, and watched two of them. I was VERY impressed with your story on the "Headteacher"! An excellent primer for those of us who don't know about the hogwans, or those of us who do know the horror storys. Time will improve things, hopefully. I've seen improvement since I taught part-time at a Seoul English school in the seventies. I would like to see a Forum for degreed teachers on here. What do you think? |

Re: New podcasting member
I could definitely see how that would scratch a proverbial itch with many on here. BTW, great podcast!
