Kwang-Gyo Mountain(Suwon)
I went to Kwang-gyo mountain last sunday, it's take about 2hours from home and back.
It's around 500meters high and traditional earth mountain with rare rock. I reminded that I went there last June with Victor who was working at Osan AB, and have a plan to retire in a couple of years. He want to be a gardener in Miami where he's born in 1950's after his retirement. He invited his wife to Korea following my advice for 2 weeks, she's working at Seattle as a hair-designer(?). They seems like really a new couple during the travel with us(with my wife), we went Kang-wha island(during Chosun dynasty, Chosun naval forces defeat American naval forces but they take over the admiral flag of Chosun naval forces, and display it at the naval academy of MP. US). There were a lot of castle built in Chosun dynasty to protect any ships to approach into Han-river(Hanyang-Seoul down town). And also Kangwha island is famous for Korean Ginseng. They visited Jeju island, Kyoung-joo(capital of Shilla dynasty) and so on. I invited them to my home and have a tea time, and lunch together with my kids also. He's interested in Church and was trying to introduce all of it on his website as many as possible. I took him to some of churches during the weekend. Hi! Victor! How have you 2 been? I'm missing U! Anyway, if guys want to stand on the peak of this mountain, please let me know. I'll make U the next Victor! jz cell: 019 296 5077 office: 031 490 4750(Molex Korea) e-mail: joezoh@korea.com Last edited by joezoh : 04-17-2007 at 09:35 AM. |
