I don't understand what's funny about this pic. am I the only one that doesn't get this pic? and what's mean verbage? I looked in the dictionary and I couldn't find it. you mean verbiage? maybe? sorry I lived in america for 2years but still I need to work on my English more.

anyways, about the thread.
my husband told me it's interesting that old koreans still believe 'fan dealth'.
they seriously think if you keep your fan on while you sleep it will kill you.
LOL I mean, I was born and raised in Korea. I noticed the timer on the fan long long time ago. but I thought it's because so they won't waste their electricity.
appearantly many old koreans still believe this "fan dealth" and I think it's one of very funny superstition in korea.

Cool Re: Funny Korea

Welcome! Yes, verbiage is correct! I like to think I can still spell correctly, but my typing is the problem! I'm not sure which photo you are referring to.
The kids in the fountain were cute, rather than funny. The overloaded trucks seem funny to Americans, because you just don't see such sights in the U.S., As our police would fine them heavily for traffic safety violations.
