[Yahoo Korea] US aircraft carrier in South Korea (AFP via Yahoo! News)

The nuclear-powered US aircraft carrier USS Enterprise made a port call in South Korea, the US navy said. The arrival at Busan, South Korea's largest port about 450 kilometers (300 miles) southeast of Seoul, came amid rising tensions over North Korea's missile tests. The US navy, however, denied linking the port call -- focusing on "friendship-building and goodwill-generating activities as well as cultural exchanges with South Korea" -- to the regional tensions. "The vessel's visit to Busan has been previously scheduled and it is not in response to any specific event," the navy said in a statement. Enterprise, the world's first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, which is 342 meters (1,128 feet) long and 78 meters wide, can carry up to 85 aircraft. Read More... The carrier may not be in port due to North Korea firing some missiles, but is there a better way to sent a message to North Korea than parking the worlds first nuclear carrier in Busan?
Watch out ladies in Busan there are a few thousand U.S. sailors running around!
