[GI Korea] Teacher's Union Endorese North Korean History Book
Now my big question is, is this garbage being taught to South Korean students?:
Anyone think President Roh will make any statements condemning the teacher's union? I don't think so he is to busy bashing the US again: It just seems this guy is on a mission to make his legacy as ROK President as the guy who ended the Korea-US alliance. I guess he thinks this will be a good thing to be remember for in Korea, but I tend to think that history will judge otherwise. Read More... Last edited by mike : 07-26-2006 at 11:07 AM. |

Re: [GI Korea] Teacher's Union Endorese North Korean History Book
This is very interesting. I don't know what it is with teachers around the world and embracing the leftist, socialist point view every time! In America it is the same way.
Roh is on his last leg and will be gone soon and hopefully a conservative will take over the leadership role in South Korean politics. South Korea seems to be pushing the U.S. away while Japan seems to be strengthening ties with the U.S. I just read an article where the Korean economy is slowing down and a U.S. pull out could be devastating.
