If North Korea ever tested the bomb there would be a lot of angry people. It would probably cause Japan to change its constitution and remove the "defense only" part for its military. That would then scare China and South Korea as we all know what Japan did last time they were an offensive force.

The real question you should be asking is what is South Korea doing to prevent it? It is South Korea that will be threatened by a North Korean nuke, not the U.S. Yes, the U.S. has military in Korea, but that 30,000 compared to 50 million South Koreans. South Korea will be the ones black-mailed by North Korean nukes not the U.S. Something to think about. Mike
