Korean scientists discover new trigger for Alzheimer's
Fact or Fiction? I guess it will take time to overcome the debacle with the cloning professor.

I would not get my hopes up too high in light of the cloning debacle. It appeared in the Korean Hearld
http://www.koreaherald.co.kr/index.asp I understand this can be really hard to deal with. I do not recall anyone in my family living long enough to know if it is heridtary. I have known people who had a problem with these symptoms. HTH

None of my Dads brothers did but several of his sisters had or have Alzheimer's and my oldest sister has MS which is related and I have had a bout with bells paulsey they all are kind of related but the MS and Alzheimer's are the worst. My sister is currently in remission but it scares me to think I could have no memory recall I told my wife if that happens just drop me off in the woods some where.

Having dealt with several Alzheimer's patients lately, they are better treated these days. I believe each state has a Alzheimer's Association chapter that conducts trainings and public education. Depending on the nursing home they some annual a day training called CCDI-something like chronincally confused dementia some. I have seen a couple go down hill and there nothing more disheartening than to see someone display a facial expression of absolute terror when you're assisting them. I don't think the Alzheimer Association would look upon the cloning incident in the same light of this topic, but I'm sure they are waiting for some positive results.
