Cool Re: When Korean people can be the owner of Korean

Actually, Andrewz, the North lives like Puppets! Under a dictator who pipes propaganda into every home on a speaker which can be turned down, but not off. After 50 years of being told that Americans started the war, and are responsible for their being in a situation where the Army has enough food and the peasants have to suffer with less food so that the Army can defend them from the Americans, they are beginning to believe that lie. Do you think they own their country?
No, Kim Jong Il owns their country, and allows them to starve while he has the best of everything!
Americans have been here in the South for as long, but we have been adding billions of dollars to the economy. The South has done well, and we will leave whenever they ask us to. As long as it is agreed by the U.S. and South Korea that it in the best interest of both countries that we stay, we will stay.
Let Freedom ring!

Re: When Korean people can be the owner of Korean

I'm Korean and I was born here. My english is very poor but I'd like to write about my countries history very simply.
The end of in the 19th century, my countries politicians fighted between parties for themselves benefit. And they were denyed a new technology and culture from other country. At that time, Japanese are accepting Europe's culture and technologies. Japanese, they alredy have a new weapon but we still using an arrow and sword, also they have a modern troops.
Japan, they invaded of my countries and my conuntries was under the control of them for 35 years. They are rob of a many korean woman during a colony and they killed thousands of people in korea.
August, 1945 , America droped a atomic bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Finally, we take back our countries by America. Since a release, North korea
put under the control of Soviet Russia, and South korea put under the control of America. It's meaning North korea area is communism and South korea area is capitalism. North korea leader Kim il sung, they were preparing a war in Soviet Russia's help. 25th Jun, 1950 , North korea invaded to South.
It's a Korean war. just before Pusan fall to North korea, America entered the war. General of the Army Douglas MacArthur, he conquered North korea area but unfortunately, China intruded into Korean war and they helped North korea. So, MacArthur had to go back to South korea area.
MacArthur, he tried to drop an atomic bomb to China but A United States Congressional disapproved it.
Finally, July 1953, declare an armistice and stop the war.
Since, It was begin a cold war between South and North.

we received a many help from America. It's true.

And I was born 1th April 1972 in South korea. I'm still here.
Yes, you may be leave from Korea someday as Mr.Joe's say.
But it's not now.
