South Korea bad for Global Warming?

Watch out South Korea, Al Gore may be after you soon!

According to a Korea Meteorological Administration report on Wednesday, the average amount of carbon dioxide at the national air monitoring station in Anmyeondo, Chungcheong Province, last year was 388.9 ppm (parts per million). Korea's CO2 level has been on the rise for seven straight years since 1999 when the amount was 370.2 ppm.

The concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere over the Korean Peninsula is affected not only by emissions from Korea but also from China, the so-called "workshop of the world."

Full story here.

Personally, I think humans causing global warming is very silly, but since so many people think it is real, South Korea will likely be forced to contribute millions towards fighting Global Warming. This is especially true since a South Korean is the head of the UN now.
