Who Was the Mystery Korean Negotiator in Afghanistan?
Interesting article by the Chosun Ilbo.
Right after Korean negotiators and Taliban reached an agreement to release all Korean hostages, one Korean representative was caught on camera apparently trying to conceal his identity with dark sunglasses. The unidentified representative gave press interviews standing next to a Taliban representative and even put his arm around Taliban negotiator’s shoulders. It is unprecedented for a representative in talks with a terrorist group to pose for a photo op.
