I have been to rest areas several places in Korea and have noticed that the little booths outside the rest area sell vibrators and sometimes pornography. This just seems kinda weird. Who needs this stuff when they're on the road? Are Koreans secretly just as perverted as the Japanese? I sure wish they were...

The U.S. is about the last holdout for prudes that want to hide the truth about what makes the world go around. Yes, Koreans and Japanese are identical in basic human behaviour.
What goes on in truckstops and rest stops all over the world may not be as blatently open here as it is in India, or France, or Germany, but the oldest game in the world and the oldest profession is worldwide.

Actually, they are all over the place - you just don't notice it because they only advertise in Korean (hangul). Typically, I see them along the side of the highway on a stretch of road with a wide shoulder.

The signs they put up will usually be fairly generic and straight-forward in wording:

성인용품 - adult items
여성전용성용품 - women's sexual aids/toys
남성전용성용품 - men's sexual aids/toys

These aren't literal translations, but that's what they mean in English.

Where I live they have them outside military bases in Area IV. Also go to a big rest area at night time where there are a lot of trucks and you will see the same thing you see at truck stops in the US "Lot Lizzards".

Koreans are not really open minded about sexuall things. As far as my understanding goes, We have more rape crimes and misunderstandings about sexual educations. You can find vending machines every conrner of the street including on the bus stop and motels. I'm not sure who use them, But I would say mostly mid-40's who are sexually active.
It is part of korean culture that you're not openly discuss about the sex in general.

Anyway, This casue huge proplems to korean kids who try to learn and understand sexual behaviors . There is no sexuall education which nurse comes to the school to teach about how to use rubber to make umbrellas . Kids are like if you're stick your thing in it, Boom baby comes out. I'm willing to teach our children ..anyone can make babies, but real men could take care of their family with responsibility.
