Random Pics in Seoul/Uijongbu

Some randon pics I took the last few days.

Cooking pork at a little restaurant in Uijongbu. The metal cooking plate is tilted at an angle (to the right in this pic) and the grease from the meat drains off through a gap on the right side of the plate...but not until after it's made its way through the kimchi, bean sprouts, and mushrooms - making them nice a crispy.

Some lost soul in Samgakji...

Looking out the window of my son's apartment north of Seoul.

A view from the walking bridge between Main Post and South Post at Yongsan. An accident (presumably motorcycle) occurred just west of the walking bridge the day prior.

The text next to the circle in the street says "helmet," and the text next to the circle on the sidewalk says, "shoe(s)."

I wonder how he views it...is the soju bottle half full...or half empty?

I took that pic during lunchtime. Coincidentally, I walked by that little park later that evening and he was still there. He was awake, but basically still laying down. He didn't look healthy at all (imagine that...?), but did have a few street urchin friends sitting on the stools nearby and was talking with them.

Yes, every time I take the subway I see someone like that. On it, or even in the station.
