USFK Forums, Classifieds and other sites for sale!

I have finally decided it is time to sell USFK Forums and all of the websites that go with it. Since leaving Korea a few years ago I just haven't had the time to be active with them. These sites have HUGE potential for anyone living in South Korea. Someone in South Korea could make $5,000 or more each month part time. I have a business plan written, but it can only be implemented by someone living in South Korea. If you ever wanted to live in South Korea and work for yourself this may be your chance! Mike- Good to hear from you, but sorry you are selling...
I've got a great prospect- a Sgt First Class Adkins, who is retiring here and has already signed out. He doesn't have a job yet, but I'm sure he is interested. He was the central person in our unit, mentoring all the young troops and running our Operations Center. I will see that he contacts you in a few days.

If we could get the gallery and the links back, I'm sure it would help in the sale...

While the forums may have been an excellent business opportunity for you, for us, they've been a lifeline, a resource beyond compare...and more than that, a meeting place for friends who have become much like family.

I'm sure I speak for all of us , at least us NCS spouses, in expressing our gratitude. Your site has provided us with a great clearinghouse of information, information that we couldn't get elsewhere...you have touched many lives, m'friend.

On a personal level, thank you -so- much for the many wonderful conversations we've had about current issues. While we may not have always agreed in our opinions, I knew I could always count on you for a spirited, yet respectful discussion and debate...and I loved every minute of it! :)

Sooo.. as loathe as I'm sure any of us are to see you go.. know that you do so having made a difference in the lives of the many people who have been touched by these forums, and that you will forever have our friendship, admiration and best wishes.

P.S. To piggy back on Nearlywild's question.. -please- don't close the site. I understand your desire to sell, the lack of time you have to maintain them as you would like to... but *PLEASE* leave them open if at all possible? Too many people have come to rely on this site as a valuable resource. There's no place like it on the net! :)

I assure you 100% I will NEVER close the site or sell to someone that would close the site. This site will always be around as a resource for anyone coming to Korea! :) It costs very little to run the site. I just feel that someone else could take this project on, especially a GI or retiree, and really make it into a real business. They would also take care of it better than I have in the past 2 years. I wish I had the time!

Joe, thanks for passing on the info! I will likely come out to Korea to finalize the sale. I will bring back all of the features for the buyer and some additional ones.
