Are the Korean Women galleries illegal?

I keep getting this annoying guy signing my mini-webpage guest book (see my profile) saying that I am breaking some privacy act. There are countless sites that are making money off famous girls without their authorization. I am simply displaying galleries. You don't even have to be a member of this site to view them! So, it cost me money to serve these pictures on my server. Also, how many Americans on USFK Forums ever heard of Shin Mina or Hyori Lee before I built these galleries? As far as I am concerned I am promoting these girls and not charging a penny to do it.

I could list countless sites that do the samething I am doing. I could also show you countless sites that charge money to look at pictures. There are countless shrines and galleries of women on the internet. Simply type in any famous woman in Google and you will see what i am talking about. Type in Hyori Lee and you will see what I mean. Where do you think I get my pics from!!!

I will let this thread run to see if anyone else knows the facts. I am not trying to be mean, but the person signing my guest book needs a life and to learn the facts.

This Korean also annoys me because Koreans rape the American movie and music industry with their $5 DVDs on every street. I don't think I like hearing a person tell me the Korean governement will be knocking on my door, when the Korean government does nothing about illegal sales where people actually make a profit.

I just had an idea! Maybe I will start charging $5 to view the galleries. Then I will stop charging when Koreans stop making knock off DVDs for $5. Sound good?

Well as far as I can tell, unless you take the pics from a pay site, or if the site you get the pictures from specifically asks that you not repost, I don't see how you're doing anything wrong. And actually, aren't you doing these girls a good thing by increasing their exposure? I mean, that's why they take these pictures in the first place. I wouldn't worry about some clown with nothing better to do. If he has a legitimate point to make, let him become a Forum member and have this conversation out in the open.

All of these pics were taken from Google and Yahoo image searches or from a FREE website that had them listed. I simply placed them on my site in a more organized way.

If I were their agent, I would be very happy to know there is a gallery of my star out there. They are getting free promotion!

EDIT: As I read into this person's comments, it almost seems it's an anti-American Korean teen (or college student)...either that or an American with poor language mechanics and a lot of spelling errors.

Or it could be a Korean/American, late teens to early 20's in college, who lived in the states for a while, immigrated at a young age, got picked on for being in ESL classes and became a "Pro Korean".

What's the "correct Korean Government"? Or did this person mean "the proper authorities"?

International Copyright laws clearly state " Any subject matter posted to a public site not marked as copyright protected are considered public domain" there fore if you got them from a "public site" and are reposting them to a "public site" then you are violating no laws. If you do a google search on public domain material you will find this.
I suggest you call this guys bluff and have him call the authorities. Anyone who had a copyright on the ,aterial would have notified you already if they felt you were in violation. This person is just another who enjoys the anonimity (sp) that the internet gives someone. Its called the wizard of Oz syndrome, brave behind the curtain but pull the shades back and they run away like ****roaches..... just my two cents..

I've got my own forums with a "hot babes and nice gear" section. I haven't gotten any complaints...

Maybe somehow this person is linking your classifieds promotion with pictures of korean models? After seeing Hyori Lee on your sight I was strangely compelled to buy an electric guitar. Maybe you should send her manager a cut of your profits to make it legal. lol

Well, in dedication to our new friend, I updated the Korean Women gallery! I added a Korean Fashion Models Gallery and added some pictures to the Shin Mina Gallery.

Notice the outstanding grammar and cowardice of the author. He won't even sign up and talk like a man. He has to get his friends to "met" with me. Typical of a boy who can't fight.

Notice the word "Hoale", which is a derogatory word for white guys. See what I mean when I say racism is everywhere?

What this punk doesn't know is that I was a Golden Gloves boxer and studied martial arts for 5 years. I would love to meet him alone and unarmed. I wouldn't throw the first punch, but I would surely end it.
