Skype, you best friend in Korea!
If you have not used Skype I recommend getting it. You can call from computer to computer for FREE and from phone to computer/Computer to phone very cheap and much cheaper than the phone cards.
What is Skype? Skype is a little piece of software that lets you make free calls over the Internet. We are revolutionizing the telecoms world by allowing our users to make superior quality voice calls to other Skype users for free and to landlines and mobiles worldwide for the price of a local call. We don$)C!/t like to blow our own trumpet, but we!/re pretty popular because of it. We!/ve already had over 100 million downloads of our software and every day over 150,000 new users join us and our 33 million active users. 27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash4/cabs/swflash.c ab#version=4,0,0,0" id="_100X100" width="468" height="60">

Re: Skype, you best friend in Korea!
The reason I did not get skype?
Not everyone has high speed internet? So it's good as long as everyone you want to talk to has high speed internet.

Just think about dial up and how slow it is with everything else. It might just work as long as the other person knows exactally when to be on-line, and hope nothing is wrong with the phone lines.

Re: Skype, you best friend in Korea!
OR:
Get SkypeIn (sorry, a little late) I paid 60$ for one year (to get a number people can call me at from any phone), then prepaid 10$ to be able to call out. All inbound calls are free to me. Period. So I can call my wife (at .021 cents a minute) and say "call me back" and the hour we talked cost 2 cents. They have skypeIN numbers for most area codes. It's pretty much amazing. 60$ a year for unlimited inbound calls is where it is AT! |
