DLA question

It seems like I read somewhere on the USFK web site that single (unaccompanied and not command sponsored) service members are not entitled to a DLA. I PCS'd from the states, live in town, and will be staying here at least 2 years (based on orders not AIP). Should I have been eligible for a DLA? Do you have a reference (I'm Navy, but anything will work)?

Re: DLA question

I'm Air Force, but it shouldn't matter: if you were officially granted the authority to live off base, you should get the unaccompanid DLA. If you "ghosted" you're out of luck.
As for a reference, it's in the massive JTFR but I don't know where, sorry. Maybe the website will help:

Re: DLA question

Thanks! That's what my AF coworker told me. I think that DLA didn't come in because I never requested it from PSD, although I did get my off post housing approved through them.
