1466 Procedures

Can someone explain to me how the process works? I am getting conflicting explanations. This is what I believe....

Once the 1466 is signed off at the losing base it goes to the gaining base to be approved. Where does it go from there?

Problem is, DH is in Korea, I am here at Langley and I am not sure if it is supposed to come back here or go to Korea. It's getting very frustrating since he is due to come back home next month "sometime" and he still can't get his orders until this process is done.

Re: 1466 Procedures

The only thing an AF Form 1466 does is tell AFPC that you are medically cleared to go overseas and that it's OK for them to issue orders to your husband. You won't get the 1466 back, so keep a copy in case they lose it.
