That dove in the beginning was a bit overkill, IMO.
Anyway, looks almost as if the whole city is going to be rebuilt. Hope they take traffic & parking into serious consideration. |

I think it is a great video. It is interesting that the U.S. will only have 10 military installations in Korea by 2008-2009. It looks like the Pyongtaek area will rival Busan. Maybe this is the answer for the Koreans to get people to live somewhere besides Seoul.

There should only be three hubs open IF the relocation ever takes place. As far as the total number of camps/bases still open, that's debatable. By my count, I see 7 sizable locations still open after relocation. Who knows, it's still a major drawdown compared to the US presence in the past.

I think you are correct. With the protests and the South Korean government consistently dragging their feet 2010 seems more realistic. I think this video shows that if you were to invest in property, Pyongtaek looks like a great place to invest.
