USFK warns its personnel to avoid travel to Thailand
It looks like Thailand is off limits for USFK military personnel vacationing to Thailand. Go there at your own risk!
U.S. Forces Korea is warning its personnel to avoid traveling to Thailand “until further notice” following the Sept. 19 military coup.

“Although there has been neither violence nor indications of direct threats to American citizens, civil disturbances could occur in Thailand resulting in anti-foreign sentiments or activities,” according to a force-protection warning on USFK’s Web site.

USFK civilian employees, contractors and family members are “encouraged to follow the guidance,” according to the statement.
