Is your Club Card worth it?
The club card can be useful. I really didn't use mine enough to warrant the monthly fee. Do you use your club card? Is it worth the monthly fee?

Re: Is your Club Card worth it?
I do, but I am geographically seperated fron Osan and get the monthly fee discounted. I enjoy the restaurants in the Mustang club. Where I live we have very limited MWR facilities and most of them are patronized by Korean base workers. With the discounts for me it is a good deal.

Re: Is your Club Card worth it?
Hmmmmmmmm...good question. I've never been a big fan of the club card. In fact, any time that I've been to any type of finance class on base, they've always stressed that you should never have a card that has a monthly fee AND an interest rate. Sounds like we preach one thing and encourage another. I might consider it in Osan though...
Any thoughts from you guys?

Re: Is your Club Card worth it?
When I was in JUSMAG, and had some sort of party every week, it was a necessity. Now that I don't socialize and am not "Required" to attend so many functions, and I don't really go out and drink as a normal routine, and the O Club is no longer the best place to eat in Yongsan, I don't have a card.
When I was travelling with the IG team, it was good to have membership for the discounts available at any club wherever we might be. Guess it is an individual decision. I say reduce the number of your Credit Cards to maybe two, or less. (If your wife has one, destroy yours and make sure you see her bill every month!) |
