Gangster is an unknown quantity at this point
I for one hope that it does not go away. I only come to Osan to use the club. If it goes away you will have what Army clubs in Korea have. All the customers are mostly Korean base workers. Also because of this fact a lot of soldiers are turned off and will not go to their club. They illegally play the slots and because they spend big money no one says anything. They are also well looked after by club management.

Air Force Club Membership System going away

Apparently, there is a move to make the club system in the Air Force go away. I believe it is a good idea as the clubs take a monthly membership fee and really don’t offer anything great in return. Many people feel pressured to join the club and pay dues. I will be glad to see the club system on Air Force bases go away. It will be interesting to see what the Air force does for a replacement. I can assume they will privatize it. Currently, many clubs loose money because they are subsidized and don’t offer much due to the lack of competition.

I've been a club member for about 10 years, and really all I use it for is for the discounts on meals. Especially for functions.
You will never catch me in the Mustang or Challenger drinking.
