USAF in Daegu
I am looking to get some info from ANY active duty USAF stationed in Daegu. I have a few questions that I would like to pose to them regarding duty assignment and what not. Anybody out there watching this board that fits that description, please reply so I can get the low-down.

Re: USAF in Daegu
I have no idea. It is a one-deep slot, and I can't find any info on the position. I am wondering what the set up is. Is it an Army base, is there an Af detachment there? What is the infrastucture like. What is the chain of command set up? Any thoughts??

Re: USAF in Daegu
K2 Air Base is a ROK Air Base.
There are 3 Army bases in Daegu. K2 is about 30 minutes away from them. |

Re: USAF in Daegu
Daegu is almost a one deep slot as far as the AF goes...oddly enough though people still manage to get into trouble down there...

Re: USAF in Daegu
I'll be working for AFN when I get to Daegu in March. From the pictures I've seen online the city looks interesting (along with the rest of Korea!) I'd also like to hear any comments people have about Camp Walker, if you've been there.

Re: USAF in Daegu
I worked for AFN in Seoul. Never been to Deagu. My friend who worked at AFN Deagu said that is was a great place to be stationed.
rader1977, when you get to korea you will spend about 2 weeks or so at Yongsan. If you have any questions about AFN Korea or about Yongsan let me know. I still live here and can give you the low down. Last edited by DrWorm : 12-27-2006 at 10:50 AM. |
