Cpl Tyler Butler East Liverpool Ohio
An army member from the town next to my home town was killed in Iraq recently, and is funeral is this weekend. Memebers of this hate group from the Westboro Baptist Church will be there protesting. I know that they have done this at many other funerals, but this one in particular is really bothering me, probably because it hits so close to home (literally). I know that they have a right blah blah blah, but it really really pisses me off that they are allowed to be anywhere near that family let alone harass them. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. It's a shame that all these military members over the decades have sacraficed themselves so homophobes like these can bother their families. I love the US and all the freedoms that we enjoy, I just feel that sometimes people take it to far, and this is a good example.

Contact a local or nearby "Patriot Guard" chapter to provide coverage for the funeral. They do a fantastic job of protecting and preserving dignity.

Re: Cpl Tyler Butler East Liverpool Ohio
Cpl Tyler's funeral was held this past weekend, and thankfully, the protestors did not show up. According to the local paper thousands of people came out in the freezing cold, lining the street that the procession went along, to show their support. I love where I am from the people are patriotic, and even though most of those people don't know Cpl. Tyler or his family they still came out to show their support forhis family, including the baby son he never met. There are a couple of articles about it at www.reviewonline.com
