He expressed regret over the top U.S. military commander’s recent remarks that linked South Korea's financial contribution to his troops with a possible review of the base relocation plan.

He said it was ``inappropriate'' that USFK Commander Gen. Burwell B. Bell hinted at a possible change in the plan which has already been agreed on between Seoul and Washington.

I've been in Korea for awhile, but i don't get it...

Having the South Korean government chide the US government for hinting at revision of an already signed agreement between the two nations is hillarious to me ---- since I've seen the SK gov announce almost immediately after signing an agreement (not with just the US) that the terms were unacceptable and the Korean gov would work to revise the unfavorable clauses...

Next, you'll have the Korean government blasting the US for not moving quickly enough to honor agreements fast enough.......(which will make me laugh even more when I consider when the first Yongsan move agreement was signed and the US Embassy move and so on...)
