Thumbs down Mike Spark-ed

I don't know. I just googled for about 15 minutes on this name....

I came here, because I thought some of the military people in the K-blogsphere would be familiar with it....

I'm been Mike Sparks-ed...

My www.usinkorea.org site is an idiots space for a ....wait....let me get quotes...
meanwhile 99.99999% of your web site is your contempt for the Korea's ingratitude and inconsistency
Your entire web site is based on the South Koreans being hypocritical and ungrateful thus we should leave.
3. "as a quasi-warfighter"
You are offering military advice that is unsound
4. "Obviously if you have read much of the site, you would have read me outline by background and have seen where I note I have never been in the military and was in Korea for ESL teaching...."

I read this.

You should state clearly that you are unqualified to offer military advice, ohh shit.

Then that would mean your entire web site would be from an unqualified person and should be ignored or not taken seriously.

Somehow, I don't think you are going to do this.
And so on....

The guy says he has read 80% of my www.usinkorea.org site, but he can't seem to remember specific items I have repeated on it again and again and again...

And he keeps sending me hate-filled emails making claims about what I have said on it despite the common themes exactly to the contrary I have put on the site again and again.

And now....

He has blocked me from replying to his emails....

after I googled around and found that he likes to set up military forums to spout his views then kick out anybody who doesn't agree with him 100% and then sends them hateful emails (like I got) and then blocks there replies (like he did me).

The brain-child's great idea for Korea was to pull all US troops out and station units on tied together floating stations (like giant oil rigs) to rapidly deploy in case of a war but who being out at sea would both keep us out of harm's way by North Korean attacks and keep us from tangling with the South Korean population....

and he calls me an idiot....

...calls himself a military expert....

....then calls me an idiot liar for passing myself off as a military expert and ex-GI....

telling me I should point out on my site that I was just an ESL teacher ---- something I've done no telling how many times......

Well, at least this wasn't a series of email exchanges with the people who sometimes contact demanding to know why I am so anti-American.....

Cool Re: Mike Spark-ed

Well, sounds like one of those folks who likes to see everything from his own wonderful perspective! If he would read that you are writing about Korea from Georgia, USA, and that you don't claim to have ever been in the military, but do have a kinship with South Korea based on many years of experience as a teacher here, he might understand a little.
Every so often, a little cloud comes by and covers the sun, but doesn't last long. Maybe he can sell some of those floating islands to the U.S. government and maybe claim one of them as his own sovereign nation!

Re: Mike Spark-ed

If you google his name, he seems to also be a one-man crusade against the Strykker vehicle as well....and believes if it had been in the Korean War with Task Force Smith, it would have done the Korean vets no good whatsoever...
