JAG probably can't do anything for you as this is a postal matter. You need to speak with the post master or senior postal inspector. |

In Reality I just thought my package would get here without problems just like any other package I would get via mail. But I see it's alot different in Korea or just any country overseas. Some people are like.."Don't worry..your package will get here." Is it that the Army Postal service is reliable but very slow? |

Re: Mail in Korea.....Help!!!
You can have all the tracking numbers in the world, as soon as it hit's the APO address in CA or where ever your APO is, it is now n the hands of the military post office which does not track anything.
If you ever have a tracking number when sending something over here it's last place will be the APO, then it will just show up in your box. To the OP, sorry your laptop is gone. It happened to a friend of mine but to the cost of $2500. You should have had it insured through the company and then beable to to get your money back that way, if not then i'm not sure what to do?

There are many fine, hard working servicemembers in the unit mailrooms. But there are also a lot of soldiers who are working there because the 1SG was told he had to supply a body for a six month detail in the unit mailroom, and he/she saw that as the perfect opportunity to get rid of a soldier who was causing problems at the unit. Anything of value should be sent registered mail or insured (or both). |
