Longer curfew sounds interesting.

Re: Bell plans to ease curfew restrictions

I am an E-5 and I am on of MANY in my field who have been in for more than 15 years... so I get screwed by your logic. Base these decisions on INDIVIDUAL actions, not the rank someone is wearing.... I cannot wait to be done with this silly system!

Re: Bell plans to ease curfew restrictions

Oh and FYI... I was in Korea all of last year and I was out past curfew almost every single weekend without one single incident... not even a close call... I suppose I am just lucky, right? NO I was able to do it because I knew how to exert self control and not be an "ugly" American.

Re: Bell plans to ease curfew restrictions

I think individual unit commanders should be able to vouch for their people. The leaders know who is a risk and who is not, so why not give them a "good guy" card that they can carry.... I suppose that makes far too much sense.

Really?

1SG/CSMs and LTCs go rampaging through the ville on a drunken rampage...getting into fights...vandalizing private property...??

That must be quite a sight!!

Re: Bell plans to ease curfew restrictions

WOW willy, you must be really good to beable to tell who is a CSM or an 0-6 while in civillian clothes....

BTW anyone see the blotter reports of those senior NCO's (PLURAL) who beat up the taxi drivers up north in the last few months?

Hummmm, gee what happened to the SMA who was caught cheating on his wife....Oh yea they (Army) just retired him, no action taken.....

Oh wait, even the P.....Oh never mind.....

The more rank you have the more you can get away with...

So what are you trying to say ~ senior NCOs are just as likely to cause trouble as junior soldiers?

You have said this quite often in this forum.

Get a clue - it has NOTHING to do with the premise I've stated all along:

The lower the rank of the service member, the more likely he/she is to act stupid while off-post. Conversely, the higher the rank, the less likely a service member will act stupid while off-post.

Is this really that difficult to comprehend?

Re: Bell plans to ease curfew restrictions

It really depend's on the person. Wether they are going to act like tards or not.No matter what rank they are. But it would be lovely if they would bend the rules on curfew in some case's .Such as a ncs spouse's. They shouldn't have a crappy curfew.Just my opinon.

Re: Bell plans to ease curfew restrictions

Willy...your comments really piss me off but I won't say anything more than that. I have to respect rank so until I'm out of the military I can't say sh*t. In 2001 there wasn't a curfew and things were fine. Punish those who need to be punished. Punishing the whole USFK for a small groups mistake is just being an asshole....

It is actually because you are flat ass WRONG! If you compare stats per capita the senior ranks do WAY more stupid stuff than the lower ranks.
