Contacts for Katusa

I know this is a forum mostly for US citizens, but I figure it couldn't hurt. I'm currently a senior in college. I will graduate in May 2008 with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I haven't lived in Korea since I was six and I do not have their social security card, but I will still have to serve their military service. I am trying to apply to KATUSA but I am in the states, and am very confused about the application process. All websites are in Korean, which I do not speak very well. Unfortunately, if they have English versions, it does not contain much information. All in all, I am very frustrated in my attempts to get information about the options in the ROK army and would like to get in contact with someone who knows the system and speaks English. Any help would be greatly apprechiated. Thanks

Re: Contacts for Katusa

Good Luck i have had to deal with the immigration process over here because i am only a permant resident of the US and had to talk to them about going to korea. I didnt want to lose my citzenship. Anyways i got it worked out thank God. My best advice find someone in your family or friends that can read korean and have them translate. Sorry im not much help.
