Army offers bonuses for officers transferring in from other services
The U.S. Army has been meeting their recruitment goals for enlisted soldiers. This is surprising to me because we have a war with Iraq going on. Apparently, the Army is having trouble recruiting enough officers as they are looking to other services.
They are offering $3,000. The Air Force just cut a few thousand 2LTs, so maybe this will give them a chance to stay in the military.
